Liza Jayne Brown is a Cree First Nation from the Lac La Range Band in Saskatchewan.  She fell in love with the music world at a young age, when she discovered the mysterious and exciting qualities of music which suited her introspective nature.

 

She is greatly influenced by classic country, folk, rhythm and blues; but she loves many other genres. She would describe her music as Contemporary Aboriginal/Country/Folk/Blues genre. She has 2 albums:“Facing the Storm” and  "Dreams", the songs are about love and heartbreak, survival, remembering, resilience, joy in life, and letting go and being open to new growth.
